Sandbank Exploring
Transfer by boat to Maziwe Island. The ride takes about 45 minutes and brings you to an idyllic sandbank which is surrounded by coral reefs. You do not have to worry about bringing your own snorkelling equipment. The friendly boat crew will take care of you so that you can fully focus on discovering this white sand oasis.
Fishing
Pangani is famed for some of the best fishing in Tanzania. Head out for the day with experienced local fishermen on the pristine Indian Ocean to try your luck at catching some of the best game fish Tanzania has to offer.
Turtle Hatching
Ushongo Beach is one of the best places in Tanzania to see turtle hatchlings. As turtle nesting sites are quietly disappearing, every known site aims to secure the turtle population and protect the nests. That's one of the reasons for creating turtle-focused eco-tourism in Tanzania with the aim to support turtle conservation. Generally, turtles nest year-round on the Tanzanian coast, but the peak nesting season falls from April–May. Turtles start hatching two months later, making June to August the best time to see the process.
